Hello my dearest sisters and brothers! I’m formally known as Dr. Inspiring Ilango. I believe sincerely that the human species alone can discover its purpose. In other words, all of us can discover our purpose of why we’re born in this universe. I’ve discovered my purpose. My purpose is to inspire everyone in the world through my thoughts, speeches, actions, songs, writings, and world records. Once, as a professional speaker, I went away from my home, Chennai. After getting ready for my professional talk, I wanted to ensure my clothing, because every time I go on stage, I not only inspire people through my talks and my songs, but also through the way I present myself, especially my dress code. This time, I wanted to ensure that my necktie matched my coat. I wasn’t sure, because I had two options of ties. I didn’t know what to do. Usually, my spouse, Srilatha, takes care of my costumes and clothing, but this time she was not with me. I tried to connect with her over phone, but I failed miserably. What could I do? This was the time this Be My Eyes app came in very handy indeed. I connected to Be My Eyes and got hold of a gentleman named Charles from East London, who helped me ensure that my clothing was impeccable, and I went with a lot of confidence, as usual, and delivered my talk very successfully that day. That was when I understood the value of the Be My Eyes app first hand. Since then, as a professional speaker, I get invitations to inspire every section of the society, especially the youth. I get invitations from the corporate world as well. Wherever I go, I keep talking about Be My Eyes with this particular rational; “Don’t despair, the world is not all that a bad place at all”. Through Be My Eyes people help the visually challenged community. A small act of kindness makes a lot of difference - I love that caption! There is a wonderful poem in Tamil. The poet of that particular poem once was asked to describe his origin, and during when he came up with this wonderful saying that ‘All the places are his own, and all the people in the universe are his kith and kin’. Be My Eyes has really proved it in action. Anyone in the world, from any part of the world that is, can help a blind person to make his or her life very independent. That’s the reason I talk about Be My Eyes to everybody. To the sighted people, I ask them to register as volunteers, so that they can help people like me. To the blind people, I tell them to become beneficiaries. I believe that Be My Eyes really does serve the same purpose of giving hope and confidence to a lot of people and unite the entire humanity in the sense of making the sighted people filled with joy and satisfaction. By helping the blind, by doing a small act of kindness they get this particular sense of gratification. I really admire this app - the world needs a lot of apps like this! That’s the reason I keep recommending Be My Eyes; one great app which does tremendous good for the blind as the benefits, and equally tremendous good for the sighted, as it gives them the opportunity to help in a small way, or in a big way for that matter, but help the blind people. After all, the universe that we live in is a place for all, it’s a place to be accommodated with the needs of every section of this universe. I really feel so happy when I connect with Be My Eyes, and I want you to benefit as sighted or as visually challenged.
